Rechargeable batteries discharge faster during winter and cold temperatures. You have probably experienced that the battery in your mobile phone drains fast when you are outside in cold temperatures.
The rechargeable battery of the FarmCam Mobility S camera cannot charge below surrounding temperature of 0 degrees Celsius but it can operate down to -10 degrees Celsius and up to +55 degrees Celsius.
During winter we recommend to use the FarmCam Mobility S with the power adapter connected and without the rechargeable battery, that extends the lifetime of the rechargeable battery. It is recommended to store that rechargeable battery charged and in an indoor environment. If the rechargeable battery is kept discharged for a longer time period it will decreases the battery life.
With the 5V/2A power adapter connected the camera will operate down to -20 degrees.
