With email alert activated you will get emails when the camera detects a motion.
Note: Email alerts will not work if PIR is inactivated.
See the following link for instructions on how to change the PIR-settings:
https://ludafarm.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/14000137038?lang=en&portalId=14000024694
Step 1
Launch the app FarmCam 2.0 and ensure that PIR is activated. Choose the camera whose email alert settings you wish to edit. Select Device Settings (the cogwheel) and then select Email Alerts.
Step 2
In order for the email alerts to work you need to add an email addres to send the email from and the password for this email. You also need to fill out the emails server settings.
Regarding the email's server settings, this information will be filled in automatically if you use an email service from Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo, iCloud, or Zoho and you do not need to alter it. If you use an email service from another supplier you will have to contact the email supplier for SMTP server information.
Step 3
The email that is used as sender will automatically be added as a recipient but this can be changed. You can also add more recipients under Email Settings. You can have a maximum of three recipients for email alerts.
Step 4
You can also change the content of the email you receive. You can choose between Text, Image, Text with image, and Text with video.
Step 5
Furthermore you can edit under what times the email alert should be enabled and disabled. You can choose if the schedule should apply to person, vehicle and/or others under Detection type.
Select the day whose schedule you want to edit. You can set when push notifications should be enabled and disabled. If you want the same schedule on multiple days you can copy the schedule. In the example below, the schedule has been copied from Sunday to Monday.
