 Here is what you need to replace the battery in FenceAlarm2 

We use AA Varta Ultra Lithium batteries for long operating life in FenceAlarm2 

Unscrew the four screws on the back of FenceAlarm2 

Lift off the cover and unscrew the screw on the battery holder 

 Slide up the cover to release the batteries 

Remove the batteries 

In the battery compartment you can see the positive and negative terminals. Install the batteries 

Slide the battery compartment cover back into place and fasten the screw to the cover on the battery holder. 

Replace the four screws on FenceAlarm2 and tighten them until they stop. Do not overtighten. FenceAlarm2 is designed so that it should look like the image below.
