How to install farmCam HD Software

  1. Download the software to your computer,  located at the following link: https://luda.farm/download/FarmCamHD.exe
  2. Locate and run the downloaded file. 
  3.  You may be asked by UAC (User Account  Control) to allow farmCam HD to make changes to your system. Select Allow or  Continue. If needed disable your Anti-virus protection temporarily as it might  interfere with the installation. 
  4. You will be directed to an installation  wizard. Simply follow the procedure to install the software. 
  5. Once the farmCam HD software is installed, it should automatically detect farmCam HD in your network. Please note that the  computer and the farmCam HD Receiver needs to be in the same network for the  automatic detection to work.

 

Minimum PC Requirements

  • 2.0GHz or faster CPU
  • 2 GB RAM or more
  • 100Mbps Network
  • Internet Connection
  • 1024x768 resolution

Log on to farmCam HD

After installing the Software, you will be  directed to the below screen. 


  1. Click “Add Device” button on the top  right.
  2. Click “Scan Device in LAN”.
  3. Double click the device you want to add.
  4. You need to use the password you created  in the farmCam 2.0 App or on the Receiver to log in, input the password you  created.
  5. Then click OK to Log in.

 

IP Address  

  • If your farmCam HD Receiver is on the same LAN network with your PC, you  can click Search to automatically find the IP address.
  • Then, enter your Username (the default of admin is already entered) and  Password, you need to use the password which you created on the farmCam 2.0 App  or on the Receiver, then click Login. After a few seconds, you will see your  cameras live on your PC.

UID

  • If your farmCam HD is not in the same LAN network as your PC, you can  use UID connect mode.
  • You can manually type the UID under the UID QR code which is found on  the Receiver. 
  • Then, enter your Username (the default of admin is already entered) and  Password, you need to use the password which you created in the farmCam 2.0 App  or Receiver, then click Login. After a few seconds, you will see your cameras  live on your PC.

Using the Live View  Screen

  1. Live View: Shows the live  view of the camera(s). 
  2. Playback: Remotely playback recorded video.
  3. RAM/CPU: RAM: Place your mouse over RAM icon, it  will show the memory loading  performance CPU: Place your mouse over CPU  icon, it will show the CPU loading  performance.
  4. Local  Setting: Set  the record/download/capture path of the file. 
  5. Device  List: Shows  the device connected to the software.
  6. PTZ: Not used  - farmCam 2.0 does not  support PTZ.
  7. Basic  Settings: Set  OSD/Encode/Image parameters. 
  8. Display  Layout:  Choose single and multi-channel view. 
  9. Sound: Enable/disable the sound and adjust  volume. 
  10. Play  Control: Play/Stop.
  11. Previous  and Next Page:  Navigate back and forth between channels in full screen view.
  12. Snap/Record:
    • Snap: Capture the image of the channel of your  choice.
    • Record: Starts manual recording, and stops  recording.
