If you want to use a different micro SIM card then the one included in the FarmCam Mobility package it will work automatically with the operators in the list below. Please note that you have to activate the SIM card with your operator and not via My.Luda.Farm since My.Luda.Farm only can activate the included SIM card.
When you have activated the new SIM card with a subscription you can test it in your smartphone to verify that it works. If the SIM card has a SIM PIN code, that SIM PIN Code must be deactivated before inserting it into the camera.
If you insert the SIM Card with an activated PIN code into the camera, the camera will not work! Completely removing the SIM Pin Code is impossible. However, you can deactivate it in your phone, in order to do that you have to go into the settings in your phone, for Iphone you go to settings > Cellular > SIM-PIN and there you deactivate the SIM PIN.

If your operator is not included in the list you need to follow these steps:
1. Create a .txt file on your computer and name it "my_custom_apn.txt". Note that the name of the file can not be anything else. You can find an example attached.
2. The file content is as below. Please contact your mobile operator to find out the APN, username and password of your SIM card.

3. Insert the SD card to your computer and format the SD card. Then save the .txt file to the root directory of the SD card.
4. Remove the battery, insert the SD card, SIM card and the battery again, then press the reset button with a needle.
