If you want to use a gmail account for sending email notifications from the app FarmCam 2.0 you need to create a dedicated App Password for the gmail account due to security reasons when using a third party app.

To create an App Password follow the steps below:

1. Go to your gmail account

2. Select 'Security'3. Make sure that you have 2-step verification ON. Then select 'App passwords'.

4. Enter your password

5. Choose other

6.  Write the name of the App, e.g. FarmCam 2.0

7. Here is your generated app password, which you enter as the password of your gmail account in the app.
